Hello all, here’s my admittedly long-overdue review of Tung Lok Seafood @ ECP. Went down for lunch on a saturday with the girlfriend, the brother and the two half-brothers and I think we literally scared the wait staff with the amount of dim sum the 4 of us could polish off. Absolutely made the most of the $19.80++ for the lunch buffet =)
Of the 36 items on the menu, we probably ordered at least 30 of them and had multiple portions =) Worthy of special mention would certainly be the Steamed Yam Cake with Chinese Sausages. Texture wise, it was soft yet had sufficient bite and the garnishing on top just completed the whole mouthful!
Then there was also the Steamed Rice Flour Roll, available with a choice of barbecued pork or prawn. Once again, it didn’t come out sticky, and the individual layers of the roll were actually discernible, perfectly steamed and kept moist by the delectable sauce generously dribbled on top of the whole dish.
I could go on and on about each of the dishes and how we dutifully polished off each and every plate but I think I’ll keep this short and let the pictures speak for themselves. Pictures shot on a Sony DSC-W300.
