For all you fans of the good ‘ol creamy taste of Bailey’s Irish Cream, here’s something to look forward to!
Bailey’s Orange Truffle has begun to hit the stores, so let’s take a look at how this addition to the Bailey’s range hold up against other cream liqueurs and orange liqueurs?
On it’s own, Bailey’s Orange Truffle when chilled is viscous, with strong notes of orange and and that signature warm, smooth, creamy finish. That changes a little on the rocks, where the creamy goodness is now more distinct, more viscous, and still, very easy on the throat.
Another common pairing for Bailey’s Irish Cream has always been coffee, plain and simple. WIth the Bailey’s Orange Truffle, the coffee tastes just like a regular coffee with cream, but this time, with the added tinge of orange. Those who normally take their coffee with cream wouldn’t find this too radical, but it may be a tad on the sweet side if you are a fan of the Americanos or if Kopi-O is your regular caffeine fix.
Bailey’s Orange Truffle will be available in travel retail from October 2012 onwards.
I can’t wait to try this! -R
